The 10 Commandments (Updated)

Thou shalt have no other secret or disavowed gods.

Thou shalt not signal your (hidden) gods via status-symbols, and even (very bad) selfies.

Thou shalt not speak glibly about God and His word (this blog post excluded, since it’s well-intended).

Remember the sabbath day and hour; and don’t show less respect to things and events of God than you would to other happenings.

Honour thy father and thy mother, and treat them like they were actually the people who gave you life and broke their butts so you could have a future and be a person worth respecting.

Thou shalt not judge unless you have suffered for the one you’re reprimanding. Killing others is out, dying for them is fine.

Thou shalt be faithful to the one you love, especially when the person is absent.

Thou shalt be grateful for what you’ve been given. Instead of stealing, give generously.

Thou shalt not spread fake news about anyone; in fact, thou shalt defend those who most need defending. If in doubt, stay silent.

Thou shalt not aggravate the feeding frenzy that is modern-day Capitalism. Buy only what thou hast to buy and stop bull-shitting yourself about what you need.
