I’ve found his responses more illuminating by virtue of the fact that he’s responding to specific questions/issues related to his own thought, as opposed to the usual ‘haphazard’ way of presenting his ideas in whatever direction and level that he wants.

E.g. I think it was Ticklish Subject where Butler mentions that the unconscious was a modality of the Real, and SZ rebutts her by saying, No, it’s part of the Symbolic. In other words, if Butler hadn’t stated her point, SZ wouldn’t have thought to clarify it?
